Admission is the academic process for determining whether a student meets the criteria to join an academic program in the institution. Institutions have a variety of practices regarding admission: some have a single admission officer, others use admission committees, some have single stage admissions, while others have two stage admissions.

CrossRoad can support all of these, but what is described in subsequent pages in this section is a single stage admission by a single admissions officer.
