A student may withdraw their application at different stages of the application process. Following proper procedure ensures the student appears in the progress of applications in the appropriate column.

For a student to withdraw their application:
Sample Auto Text I’m sorry to hear that you won’t be attending King’s next year, I understand that it’s a very difficult decision to make.
In order for us to withdraw your application we require official notification from you. This can be done in 1 of 2 ways: 1. You can log into your Apply Alberta Account [1] and put a Stop Application on your King’s application. 2. You can send over a signed note requesting your application to be withdrawn. This can be mailed, scanned and emailed to myself, or faxed to 780-465-8321.
Withdrawn before ready for decision:
Mark the file ready for decision,
File Status= Withdrawn;
Admission Status= Withdrawn;
Admission Decision= left blank;
Admission Date= Left blank;
Advisor= left blank
Withdrawn after an admission decision is made:
File Status= Withdrawn;
Admission Status= Withdrawn;
Admission Decision= Blank out;
Admission Date= update to date of withdraw;
Advisor= Blank out;
If the student has a scholarship, delete the scholarship.
