Course registration is a relatively complicated process. It presumes that you have [[Course Offerings]] prepared for students to select. There are now two methods by which students become registered in courses: registering through the Windows client, and through [[On-line Registration]].

Before a student is registered in either method, a [[student id number]] must be assigned. That is the [[First Registration]] step described in this section. [[Course Registration]] then describes the process for adding a course to a student record in the Windows client.
