COURSE TITLE: Applied Business Simulation

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Students will be introduced to the application of business theories in a complex, interactive, virtual business environment. Working in teams students will establish strategy and implement management decisions in the areas of operations, marketing, finance, and human resources. As well, teams will need to respond to various ethical dilemmas placed before them during the course of the simulation.

Prerequisites: BUSI 355, 396
REQUIRED TEXTS: Registration with CapSim www.capsim.com A student manual will be provided once you have registered.

  • Complete Competition Round 3 on Feb 27 (Note: you must enter the success measurements upon which you wish to primarily be assessed, and Advanced TQM decisions must now also besubmitted in this and all subsequent rounds)

  • Prepare Business Plan & Presentation
