COURSE DESCRIPTION: | A course on a topic of figure of special interest to a
member of the psychology faculty and offered on a non-recurring
basis.
Prerequisites: PSYC 250 or 251 2011/12 Winter This course uses human science, natural science, faith, and cultural perspectives to examine research in the promotion and maintenance of health, as well as efforts to manage illness and pain. Topics will include stress and coping, communication in medical settings, responses to chronic and life-threatening illness, and community-level health promotion. |
