Tuition fees, with some exceptions, are calculated by multiplying the number of credits by the fee per credit.

For students in all programs, a three-credit course costs $1,266.00. Normal course loads vary by program and year of study, but are typically 15.5 credits per term (31 credits per year).
For the purposes of fee assessment, a full-time student is a student taking 9 or more credits. A part-time student is a student taking fewer than 9 credits, including visiting and unclassified students.
In Addition to the domestic tuition rate listed above, international students must pay the fees listed below.

New international students have a $10 000 New International Student Deposit (NISD) and are also subject to the International Student Fee above. The fee is in addition to regular student tuition and fees while the deposit is a partial advance payment of tuition and fees and is applied to the student account.
The New International Student Deposit is non-refundable unless the student has their study permit application refused. If the student ceases to be an international student before beginning their studies (ie becomes a Permanent Resident), the deposit remains on the students account as a credit, in the same way it would if the deposit resulted in overpaying for the first semester for an international student.
If the student ceases to be an international student before the add/drop deadline, the student will not be subject to the International Student Fee that term. If the fee has already been paid, it will be reversed and applied as a credit to the account if it was paid from the NSID deposit in their first semester. If it was not paid as part of their deposit, it will be refundable or may remain on the student's account at the choice of the student.
If the student ceases to be an international student after the add/drop deadline but before the deadline to withdraw and receive a 50% refund, 50% of the International Student fee will be creditable to the student in the same way described above.
