King’s students have two options for paying their tuition, mandatory fees, on-campus housing, and meal plans.
Option A: One Payment per Term
Most students pay in full during the Registration Confirmation period each term
Option B: Monthly installment Plan
King’s offers monthly installment plans for students who wish to split their tuition into four equal payments. Installment plans include a servicing fee of $7/credit, which covers administration costs. Students participating in off-campus programs are not eligible for the monthly installment plan.
To register, students must provide their current Canadian banking information through their Registry Online Services using "Monthly installment enrollment" under Financial menu. Students must pay 25% of the total amount owing for the term prior to confirming their registration. King's will withdraw 25% of the total amount owning for the term on the first day of every month, starting in October for the fall term, and in February for the Winter term.
Students must ensure that they have sufficient funds in the registered bank account to pay the installment on the first of each month and for the first four days of that month until the installment has been withdrawn. If King’s is unable to withdraw the installment amount from the bank account due to lack of funds, a $25.00 non-negotiable payment fee will be charged and will apply to the next installment payment.
Students may be removed from the installment plan for the following reasons. 1. More than one declined withdrawal attempt. 2. Students directing their bank to stop payments. 3. Providing inaccurate banking information. When removed from the plan, the balance owing is due in full and will be subject to interest charges of 1.5% per month (19.56% per annum). In addition, the student will not be permitted to participate in the monthly installment plan in their next term.
