Academic Enrichment Centre (AEC)

The AEC and Academic Supports

The Academic Enrichment Centre is intentionally focused on providing students with every opportunity to enjoy academic success at King's and vocational fulfillment beyond. We believe that all students should have the opportunity to actualize their God-given capabilities and passions without unreasonable hindrance or barrier to their education. This may mean a focus on the removal of barriers to access or academic success through the development of academic skills, the delivery of appropriate accommodations, or the fostering of meaningful and productive connections.

The Academic Enrichment Centre serves to enrich Student Academic Success by:

1) Assisting students with Greater Access to post-secondary education, principally by facilitating your preparation for university, and developing academic English language skills.

2) Providing Academic Supports and accommodations to strengthen current students, including writing support, group tutoring, accessibility supports, educational success strategies, and workshops on how to thrive in university.

3) Providing support to discern your Vocation, Identity and Action steps. Students will receive support to discern, explore and realize their chosen calling and career through counseling, self-discovery, employment skills enhancement and support in building employer connections.
