Online Confirmation Step-by-Step

Starting Monday, December 11 at 12 noon, you can log-into your Online Services and confirm online (to make an In-Person Appointment instead, please see below). Your Registration Confirmation should be completed by January 10,2018. tuition voucher.

  1. Log into your Online Services account
  2. Monthly Installment Enrollment (optional)
    • If you would like to pay for your tuition and fees through monthly installments, which are withdrawn automatically from a bank account, you will need to click the “Monthly Installment Enrollment” link under the Financial menu.
    • Once complete, return to the main menu
  3. Confirm Online
    **Note: To complete the confirmation process, you must have paid your Winter tuition and fees.
    • Click the “Confirm Online for 2017/18 Winter link
    • Task A: Course Registration
    • Task B: Information Release
    • Task C: Address Verification
    • Task D: Financial Clearance (aka paying for your Winter tuition and fees)
      • If you applied for government student loans, the amount remitted will be listed in the “Loans” line
      • This will list the amount owing for you Winter tuition and fees.
      • If you have a balance owing, you can pay online with Interac or credit card at registry.kingsu.ca/webpay. Please select “Payment on Account.” The payment should be added to your account within 5 minutes.
    • Task E: Registration Confirmation
      • A Course/Fee sheet will appear, click the yellow button “Add these charges to your account”.
      • Once you receive he pop-up notifying you that you're done, return to the main menu.
  4. Student ID Picture (for new students only)
    • If you are a new (i.e. not a returning) student, you can have your picture taken in person at the Registration and Student Finance Office on January 3rd.
    • Rent an Energized Parking Stall (optional)
      • Although King’s offers free student parking, you may be interested in renting an energized parking stall for $100/term
      • You can rent your stall at the Registration & Student Finance Office starting on January 3

In-Person Confirmation

If you prefer confirming your registration in person at the Registration and Student Finance Office, or if you are required to (i.e. have a hold on your account), we would be happy to help you! Appointments can be made for January 3 or 4.

  1. Log into your Online Services account.
  2. Monthly Installment Enrollment (optional)
    • See Online Confirmation, Step 2.
  3. Book your In-Person Confirmation Appointment
    • You can book your In-Person Confirmation Appointment by logging into your Online Services account and clicking the link “Make a Registration Confirmation Appointment for Fall 2017/18”.
    • Complete the “Address Updated Required” section.
    • Complete the “Information Release Update Required” section.
    • Select an appointment date and time for January 3 or 4.
    • As soon as you book your appointment, you should receive a confirmation email.
  4. Book an appointment with your Faculty Advisor (optional)
    • If you would like to meet with your Faculty Advisor, or if you are required to (i.e. on probation), we suggest you meet with them 30 minutes before your Registration Confirmation Appointment.
    • Please e-mail your Faculty Advisor to confirm your appointment date and time. You can look up their e-mail address through King’s Staff Directory.
  5. Attend your appointment
    • Pay for your Winter tuition and fees in person: you may pay by cash, cheque, debit, and more. If you wish to pay by credit card, please make a payment in advance by going to registry.kingsu.ca/webpay and selecting Plastiq.
    • Rent an energize parking stall for $100/term (optional)
    • Receive your Student ID Card
